SQUARE

In 2018, Mummu Studio embarked on a project to create animated tutorials for the fintech giant Square, which specialises in providing payment services to sellers and businesses of all sizes. Starting with an initial batch of six tutorials, Square's tutorial output reached its peak in 2022, with 190 different deliverables in a single year. These deliverables included new tutorials, updates to existing ones, and localisation packages for 10 different markets. Overall, more than 400 deliverables were produced for this project.
My role started as the sole animator, but soon expanded to include scriptwriting, storyboarding, and design. Eventually, I oversaw a team of freelance animators working remotely as a project manager, and ultimately, I took on the role of animation director, liaising directly with the client.
